"Peoples Church in Fresno California implemented Awesome Adventures as a follow up to a Billy Graham Crusade in the year 2000. We offered an elective class during our third hour on Sunday morning and invited our regular attending children and those who recently came to Christ in the crusade.
The materials are very attractive, colorful, interactive and sensitive to the cultural diversity that we have here in the Central Valley of California. The subjects that are addressed in the materials are foundational truths needed by every young Christian. Through games, 3 D glasses and excellent graphics the children experience sound doctrinal truths to a level that challenges them to apply what they learn to their personal everyday life. There is a strong emphasis to depend on the Word of God throughout the materials that stresses the Bible being the guide in our daily adventure following Jesus.

After spending about 6 weeks creating my own lessons each week, our Sunday School coordinator presented a set of DiscipleLand books for us to look at as a possible curriculum to use. When I saw the Bringing the Bible to Life, I loved it immediately.
Here are some of my favorite parts of your curriculum:
1) The colorful student workbooks that they get to take home and work in during the week.
2) The content of the first book - how to study the Bible (a VERY important skill to teach students at this age, so they can grow in their personal walk with the Lord).
3) The cohesiveness of each lesson and unit. (I like how their homework prepares them for the next lesson.)
4) The clear objectives at the beginning of each lesson (worthwhile ones!)
