1. Which Bible translation appears in DiscipleLand resources?

All DiscipleLand lessons are "translation independent."  Instead of printing actual Bible text in our lessons, we supply only the Bible verse references. Children look up Bible verses in their own favorite translations.

"Bible Memorization Cards" (included in "Adventure" Leader Guides or "Core Bible" Resource Kits) come in five Bible translations: New International Version, New Living Translation, New American Standard, King James Version, and New King James Version.

3. What is DiscipleLand's Bible translation policy?

Many good English Bible translations are available. The variety of translations magnifies the richness of God's Word and helps Christians grow in biblical knowledge, Christlike character, and godly conduct.

4. Does DiscipleLand talk about the Holy Spirit and/or being Spirit-filled?

DiscipleLand Core Bible curriculum teaches about subjects such as the Holy Spirit in the Bible passages that address the topic.

Numerous DiscipleLand lessons explain how God's Spirit fills, empowers, and indwells Christians. Bible passages that address the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the Gospels (Core Bible Level 3) and the Book of Acts (Level 4) are examined and explained. "My Awesome Adventure," and "My Jungle Adventure" also have lessons that explain the Holy Spirit's ministry.

5. Is this curriculum Trinitarian or one-God based?

The Bible teaches the existence of one God who reveals Himself in three eternal and coequal Persons. God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are distinct members of the Trinity.

6. Where are Baptism, the Ten Commandments, the Sacraments, etc. taught?

DiscipleLand curriculum teaches about specific subjects such as these in the Bible passages that address the topic. Refer to the Scope and Sequence for specific passages covered.

7. Is DiscipleLand connected to a particular denomination?
