Lesson 1 Summary

The Scriptures guide us to know our maker, find salvation, and live the life He intended for us. In this lesson, reignite in children a curiosity and respect for the Bible, showing them that it can make a huge difference in their lives as they learn how to use it.

Lesson 2 Summary

Help children feel comfortable navigating through their Bibles. Give them a basic understanding of how the Bible is organized, how to find verses, and how to use some reference tools commonly found in Bibles. Encourage your kids to make the Bible a trusted tool that they can use—making a real difference in their lives today and in the years ahead.

Lesson 3 Summary

Introduce children to reference tools that can transform the Bible from a confusing, intimidating Book to one that is loaded with intrigue and treasure—just waiting to be discovered. Once kids see that helpful tools are readily available to assist their understanding, they will be encouraged to dive deeper into God’s Book that is studied and talked about so much at church. In addition, children will begin to see that the Bible is connected to the “real” world that they see and hear about at school, on television, in museums, and in other media.

Lesson 4 Summary

Scripture has the power to change lives and is the key to a life God blesses. Beyond the academic aspects of this incredible Book, children need to comprehend that the Bible is the key to walking with God and that applying His words is what makes the Bible useful.
