Elementary Curriculum: Core Bible
Overview: Level 1 (ages 6-8), Discovering God's Greatness
This year, your children ages 6-8 will acknowledge God—as Lord of heaven and earth. Kids will experience God's view of family, work, worship, and community. Join a Bible-times family and discover what living in God's world was like 2000 years ago!
Supply your children with a solid foundation of knowing God. Surround them with Bible-times culture, so your kids will have a framework for all their future Bible exploration. Learn how all 6 DiscipleLand Core Bible Levels work together.
Every quarter includes 12 Bible lessons (plus one review lesson). Level 1 uses topical Bible stories to teach about God's character and qualities and Bible-times life. We recommend beginning with Quarter A, although you can use DiscipleLand resources in any order.

Quarter A: Family Life With God (Click This Bar)
Children will encounter 12 truths about the God who loves and cares for families. Kids will wear Bible-times clothes, eat ancient food, attend a synagogue school, and learn how faith in the Lord and daily activities together united Bible-times families.
Bible content: Mark 1-3 
Quarter B: At Work With God (Click This Bar)
Children will discover 12 truths about the God who values hard work. They will observe Bible-times people who used their skills to serve the Lord and other people. Kids will learn good work habits and attitudes as they plant tender seeds, mold soft clay, and practice many Bible-times occupations.
Bible content: Mark 4-7
Quarter C: At Worship With God (Click This Bar)
Children will learn 12 truths about the magnificent God they worship. They will come to know, love, and serve God as they join Bible-times feasts, festivals, and worship practices. Kids will discover how faith in God drew Bible families together and influenced daily living.
Bible content: Mark 8-11
Quarter D: Village Life with God (Click This Bar)
Children will grasp 12 truths about the God who cares for all people. They will become a close-knit community-experiencing a Bible-times marketplace, travel, healthcare, and wedding! Kids' hearts, minds, and spirits will be united in fellowship with the Lord and with each other.
